After spending time in southwest England, I thought the next logical step was heading to The Northeast. There is a lot of history to explore from the castle in NewCastle, the cathedral in Durham, Hadrian's Wall, the priory in Tynemouth, the Roman fort in South Shields. And, of course, the British beaches where you need a jacket even in late May! But, June is here, and I want some proper warm weather, so I am headed back south for a bit.
