Down under.

Beaches on the Gold Coast, hiking in the Blue Mountains, the cities of Melbourne and Sydney. Such a great variety.  It would take months to properly explore.

Known for the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, Sydney has so much more to offer. Wonderful parks, great museums, plenty of restaurants.

Sydney Harbor Bridge

Iconic bridge that you can climb up to the top for wonderful views of the city.

Sydney Tower Eye

the tallest structure in Sydney, and an easier way that climbing the bridge to get above the city and have great views.  The tower was previously known as The Centerpoint Tower and the AMP Tower.

Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk

Sydney Opera House

You can take guided yours of this iconic structure, but you could also catch a concert...or yes, an Opera.

Blue Mountains

if you want to get outdoors, this is a wonderful place for it.  Just 1 or 2 hours drive outside Sydney, it is easy accessible and very popular. You can also take a train from Sydney to Katoomba, the use busses in the park.

There are simple, fun things to do in the park like ridge a glass bottom gondola over a gorge or take the worlds steepest rail line into a rainforest.  Yes, a rainforest here on the driest continent.

If you want more adventure you can go rock climbing or abseiling.

Or, if you want to be more moderate like me, just enjoy the miles and miles of hiking trails and visit the Jenolan Caves.
