Vajdahunyad Castle
relatively young, this castle was finished in the late 19th century and sits in the middle of the city park. It was built to celebrate 1000 years since the Hungarian Conquest.
Buda Castle
Currently the home to the Hungarian National gallery, castles for the Hungarian kings have been here since the 13th century, but the current palace was built in the 18th century.
Fisherman's Bastion
fortress that was finished in 1902, this isn't as old, but is certainly as beautiful as any monument in Budapest.
