From the deserts to the oceans, the Dead Sea, the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.  There is a unique beauty in the areas to the south and east of the Mediteranean.

But, what really catches my interest is the singular history of these regions.  From the start of all civilizations, to the origin of major religions; this area evokes unique emotions for so many.
