Bucharest is wonderful. Maybe I am biased because there is so much French influence in the architecture, and that makes me feel happy and comfortable. Either way, I really enjoyed my stay.
I did, however, make a rookie mistake here (not my first, certainly won't be my last). I forgot to check holiday schedules and I came during Orthodox Easter, so a lot of things were shut down limiting the experience a bit.
Regardless, a very nice city with friendly people.
It also didn't hurt that the weather has been nearly perfect this week also.
